4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari
Day 1 Kigali To Volcanoes National Park Rwanda
You will be welcomed by our delegate who will brief you and guide you through this entire safari. The journey will take you through the spectacular terraced hills which cover most of the Landscape in Rwanda. You will gradually ascend to the picturesque Virunga ranges bringing to sight the 5 peaks that project above the green country side before finally arriving at the beautiful Virunga Lodge. Day 2 Volcanoes National Park Gorilla Trekking Rwanda
Today you will set out to track the Mountain gorillas in Parc National des Volcans trekking through the lightly forested mountain sloped of the Virunga ranges. On finding the gorillas you will spend one hour in their presence and later return for lunch at the lodge. However you should keep in mind that because some mountain gorilla groups are quite elusive, it may take the entire day tracking them through the muddy wet trails. Overnight at a lodge .
Day 3 Dian Fossey Hike & Rwanda Golden Monkeys
If you have an additional permit you may enjoy another day of gorilla tracking, alternatively enjoy any of the other tourist activities. You may set out tracking the dying out golden monkeys; alternatively walk to the grave of Dian Fossey and the adjacent gorilla cemetery where her best like gorilla-Digit was laid to rest. Other common expeditions include visiting the Roz Carr Imbabazi Orphanage and come face to face with some of the children assisted by the Uplifting Project. Optionally, unwind on the cool shores of Kivu Lake which habitat to some of the best islands in the whole of Africa, or even choose to have a guided trek to the spectacular Lake Bulera to enjoy the exciting village lifestyle. 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tracking
This exciting Gorilla safari will be concluded with an expedition to Kigali. Prior to heading to the airport, if time allows you will enjoy a city tour to see the genocide memorial which for ages has remained a testimony of the brutal past the country experienced and has bravely gotten over. Return to the airport to catch your flight back home. Overnight at a lodge .
