Kasenyi Wild Game Lodge Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kasenyi Wild Game Lodge is positioned in the heart of the Kasenyi wildlife corridor, one of the most prolific game-viewing areas in all of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The lodge offers a genuine bushveld experience, with wildlife frequently visible from the property itself and the famed Kasenyi Plains — where predator densities rival those of any East African savannah — spreading out just beyond the lodge grounds. For travelers whose primary motivation is close encounters with big cats, elephants, and the great herds of the African plains, Kasenyi Wild Game Lodge delivers an immersive front-row experience.

Location & Setting

The lodge sits near the Kasenyi area within Queen Elizabeth National Park, surrounded by the open grasslands and scattered thickets that characterize this iconic game-drive circuit. The Kasenyi Plains are celebrated for their exceptional lion sighting rates, and the area also supports large herds of Uganda kob, buffalo, elephant, and waterbuck. The lodge’s proximity to Lake George adds another dimension to the landscape, with morning mists rising from the lake and waterbirds commuting overhead. The setting is genuinely wild — this is not a lodge on the park fringes but one situated within the ecosystem itself, where the rhythm of predator and prey plays out daily.
