Afoyo African Safaris is a locally owned Ugandan tour company based in Kampala, creating affordable, tailor-made safari experiences across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia. Fully registered and licensed by the Uganda Tourism Board, the company is an active member of the Association of Uganda Tour Operators and the African Travel and Tourism Association.

Founded by a former safari guide who worked in and around Murchison Falls National Park, Afoyo was shaped by first-hand experience of both Uganda’s natural beauty and the challenges facing communities near protected areas. That insight drives a simple belief: travelers should not only see Africa, but understand it, respect it, and leave a positive impact behind. The company supports conservation and local livelihoods through initiatives like the Mubaku Community Project, which focuses on education, cultural tourism, and wildlife protection.
