Day 1; Reach Entebbe International Airport and travel to Kidepo
When you land at Entebbe International Airport, our staff member greets you as both await another flight linking to Kidepo Valley National Park which typically lasts about 3 hours maximum. After touching down, staff collects you from landing strip and takes you to Apoka lodge using a 4×4 safari vehicle for resting and getting ready for late afternoon wildlife tours. As evening approaches we go for a short animal watching trip and go back to our safari accommodation while planning for a more extensive wildlife exploration following day. Night at Apoka Lodge (FB).
Day 2; Animal Exploration, Wildlife Observation & Culture
Following early breakfast, we begin a 2 to 3 hours morning wildlife drive through Kidepo Valley National Park seeking leopards, lions and the rare cheetahs. After morning animal tours, we return to safari accommodation for additional breakfast then take pool time as we await afternoon plans. During afternoon, we quickly visit Karamojong for cultural learning and enjoy another evening wildlife safari filled with various animal types. Night at Apoka Lodge (FB)
Day 3; Dawn Animal Tours and Return to EBB
Dawn Wildlife exploration and back to lodge for breakfast and lunch. Staff takes you to Airstrip and you fly toward Entebbe. Our team moves you to Papyrus Guesthouse for day facilities then later brings you to Entebbe International Airport for continuing travel. Considering distance between Kampala and Kidepo Valley National Park, fastest and most practical way to access this safari park involves flying unless you find comfort with over 10 hours road travel. Should you prefer using 4×4 safari vehicle to Kidepo please inform us beforehand.
